This blog is moving :)

Hi Everyone! As you all know, I can’t help but change things up once in a while! Many of you have already noticed the new design for my website This time around, I went for a much more simple design, so as not to take away from the photos. Besides, who needs all that fluff ;)

Anyway, my wedding blog will now be showcased at which has it’s own blog built-in! Plus, it has nifty links to follow me on Twitter and my Facebook Fan Page. So, stop by the new site, and leave some comments. I love to hear your thoughts about these kinds of things :)

I hope you’re all having a spectacular summer, thanks again!

Corrie’s bridal session

Austin brides are known for their sense of uniqueness and flair, just like our beautiful city. When Corrie asked me to do something a little different with her bridal portraits before her wedding day, I was all for it! Talk about a bride with a sense for the quirky and different, Corrie’s ideas just flowed from one creative look to the next. With help from her wonderful wedding planner, Amanda Dudley from Big Day Event Productions, all I had to do was push the button on my camera. The beautiful and creative Corrie did all the rest :) Love you Corrie!!

So exotic, yet so close…

Courtney and I met at Lauren and AJ’s wedding a couple of years ago. The wonderful thing is that when it came time for her to pick out her photographer, there was no question about it. Courtney and Jarrett celebrated their wedding with their loved ones at the unique Serengeti Resort with gorgeous scenery and exotic game. Congratulations guys!!! Wedding Planner: Jenn Goodner of Your Very Own Fairy Godmother.

Lindsay + Bradley= Forever :)

As you may have read before, I met Lindsay years ago at a wedding I captured for Denise and Matt. Lindsay and I have constantly bumped into each other at many of her friends weddings. So of course, I was ecstatic when she asked me to photograph her wedding with Bradley! It was wonderful getting to see all of our friends again, witness a beautiful wedding, and get some amazing photos of a couple so much in love! Lindsay and Bradley, I wish you both the very best. Cheers!

Lindsay’s got it all…

What can I say? I’ve been so blessed to have such wonderful brides. Lindsay is one of a group of ladies whose wedding I’ve had the pleasure of capturing. They are all UT grads and have always been a wonderful group to see every time I shoot another wedding. It’s like having my own fan club, wink!

As lucky as I am to photograph such amazing ladies, Lindsay is definitely the sweetheart of the bunch. Her free spirit and kind heart won me over the first time I met her at her friend’s wedding. And it just goes to show that it definitely came out in her bridal portraits. Thank you Lindsay for being such a beautiful bride, and a wonderful friend. Makeup by Jose Luis Salon.
