Hi, I’m Dustin Meyer. I live in Austin, TX and I love shooting wedding photography and portraits. Taking photos is one of the ways I’ve found that I connect with people around me. That’s why I love making stunning images for my clients. Some people may not understand the value in what I do. But I like to think it’s the ones that really get it, those are the people I want to work with. And that’s why I’m here explaining who I am. I feel it’s important to establish a connection with my clients from the very beginning. I feel very passionate about my work, and my subjects. And I’m glad you’re here to look at some of my latest work. If you’re interested in learning more about how I can work with you, I’d love for you to contact me at www.dustinmeyer.com. Thanks for visiting and enjoy!

I’ve known Walt for a very long time, so it was great when he came over for his senior portraits. Walt, congratulations and good luck in everything you do!
Hey Everyone,
I’m very excited to share with you an interview of me for WPPI 2010 explaining in detail my Master Class program “Go Where Your Clients Are”. Enjoy!
A good friend of mine, Dawn Earley, owner of Your Very Own Fairygodmother Weddings and Events, just recently had twins and moved into a new house. All in the same year! So, as a housewarming gift, I offered to take pictures of her kiddos. They were absolutely gorgeous! Breckin was such a great helper, and the twins Bailon and Brittyn were smiles and laughs the whole time. Thank you Dawn, for letting me come to your home and capture such great images of your children. Merry Christmas to the Earley Family from our family.
Here at Dustin Meyer Photography, we love family. And we love photos. But we hate the holiday rush! That’s why I’m including $100 print credit when you purchase a portrait session for your loved ones. Skip the stores and give them something they’ll treasure forever…
As always, I enjoy being allowed to capture one of the most memorable days in a couple’s lives. However, Leanne and Jason’s wedding at Plantation House will forever be one of the most memorable to me. Their genuine love for each other was reflected in the faces of all their family and friends along with all the beautiful floral designs by Flora Fetish, delicious foods by Crave Catering, and the gorgeous cakes by Simon Lee Bakery. Makeup by Maris Malone Calderon. Congratulations to you both!!
What better way to end my time capturing the Eat Local Week by Edible Austin than by enjoying beers from local breweries? The popular Austin Whip In mini-grocery is a fine purveyor of beer, wines, and spirits as well as delicious organic and local foods. So, we had a regular parking lot party with some of the best beer and bratwurst in the area! All proceeds go to Urban Roots, a YouthLaunch program that teaches youth about the benefits of community service and organic farming.
Edible Austin continues with Eat Local Week at the Wally Workman Gallery with the Fine Food Art Night. Tonight’s event was a delicious combination of foods and fine art on display. Some of the foods were actually displayed as art, hence the rice krispy pig and dog display,
Participating vendors included Tipsy Texans, Paula’s Texas Spirits, with food and wine by Les Dames d’Escoffier. All proceeds and 10% of all art sales go to benefit Urban Roots, a YouthLaunch program that teaches kids about the benefits of community service and organic farming.
